How we serve Oman today
We do not yet operate a laboratory in Oman. A partner veterinarian takes the biopsy locally, keeps it cool, and ships it to Bahrain or Abu Dhabi, where it arrives.
Owners of camels and horses outside Muscat can arrange a mobile collection visit instead of travelling to a clinic, with the date and route agreed beforehand.

What happens on arrival
The sample is cultured for about three weeks and tested before the line is considered banked. It is then split between the receiving laboratory and its mirror, so an Omani client's line is held in two cities, not one.

What follows
A banked line supports genetic testing, veterinarian-prescribed regenerative therapy, and, if you decide later, cloning. Nothing beyond banking is decided at the outset.

- Not yet. Biopsies travel chilled to Bahrain or Abu Dhabi.
- Can you collect from a farm outside Muscat?
- Yes, by arrangement, particularly for camels and horses.
- What does banking cost?
- $6,500, with cryostorage at $500 a year from the second year.
- Does the sample need to be frozen for shipment?
- No. Samples travel chilled in transport medium to the laboratory and are placed in culture on arrival.
- Where is the line stored once banked?
- In two cities: the receiving laboratory and its mirror.
